A Chinese elderly couple, Luo Baogen and his wife, refused to relocate from their apartment building in the city of Wenling, in Zhejiang province, China, because they believe that the compensation by the government is not enough, and so the road was built around the house. Their neighbours have all moved out leaving only the couple in the five-storey block.
